MISSIONS & OUTREACH

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that Christ has commissioned His people to make disciples of all nations. At Cornerstone Church we are wholeheartedly committed to this great commission. We provide both pastoral and financial support to a number of missionaries both in the US and abroad. We are particularly thankful to God for the opportunities that have arisen over many decades to support the work of missions in Latin America.

REFORMED BAPTIST NETWORK

Cornerstone Church is a member of the Reformed Baptist Network – an association of likeminded churches whose purpose is to “glorify God through fellowship and cooperation in fulfilling the great commission to the ends of the earth”

RBNet cooperatively endorses both domestic and foreign missionary endeavours, assists local churches in raising support for their endorsed missionaries, provides financial assistance for special projects approved by churches within the network, publishes and distributes a monthly missionary prayer guide, and meets yearly in General Assembly. LOCAL OUTREACH

We are always seeking to find new ways in which to reach our local communities for Christ. We currently operate an outreach ministry to the homeless within our local communities, have established a weekly Bible study ministry at a nearby assisted living facility, run a yearly Fall Festival outreach, and support a number of local Christian organizations whose missions are to both minister to the physical needs of suffering people and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our prayer is that Christ would continue to give us zeal in evangelism, compassion and love for the lost people of this world, courage to proclaim the truth, and open doors of opportunity for the Word to go forth.
