The fall semester begins on September 12th with an introduction and tea. The study will conclude in early December. The study guide for the spring is The Son of David – Seeing Jesus in the Historical Books by Nancie Guthrie.
Come join us for Cornerstone’s Annual Harvest Festival! There will be grilled hotdogs and snacks, along with plenty of games and activities for the kids-including hay rides and a bounce house. Everyone is welcome!
Our men’s group meets at the church every other month for a meal together, a message from God’s Word and prayer. In the off-months, smaller groups gather at various settings off-campus for a time of fellowship and mutual encouragement in the Lord. We gather on Wednesday evenings for a time of prayer and a brief study in God’s Word that is led by Pastor Jim Adams.
We will continue to celebrate Christ’s victory over the grave with a cantata from the choir and a brief resurrection message.
We celebrate our Savior’s resurrection at dawn with joyous singing, the reading of Scirpture and a message out in the courtyard. The time of worship is followed by a full breakfast together.
In this evening communion service, we will consider the great commandment Christ emphasized on the night before his crucifixion: “Love one another, even as I have loved you.”
Sunday, April 9 – Palm Sunday Service, 10:30 am In this service, we will remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem as king, reflect on the implications of His present reign, and rejoice in the hope of His coming again.
