Cornerstone Family,
Below you will find an aid for your worship at home this Sunday. May God fill our hearts and homes with great joy as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
You brother,
Jon
Scripture Reading: Psalm 16:5-11
Prayer
Psalm 16 is applied by the apostles to Jesus Christ, whom God “did not abandon in the grave, nor let him see decay.” The fact of Christ’s resurrection ensures the same for us, though. Our bodies, though they die, will eventually be raised just like Christ’s was raised. Our fate is not the grave. It is eternal life and fullness of joy in the presence of our God and Savior. Give thanks to God for this indescribable gift, and for the hope we can live with now, knowing the certainty of what awaits us then.
